BSNL offers: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL) a government-owned telco introduces an add-on pack for broadband plans that will give a subscription to OTT platforms like VOOT Select, SonyLIV Special, Zee5 Premium All-access pack, YuppTV Live, FDFS (First Day First Show), and YuppTV Movies. This BSNL plan comes for Rs 129 for the first three months of subscription. After three months, the same benefits will be available to BSNL Broadband customers at Rs 199 per month. The add-on packs are now available throughout India.

These plans offer a premium subscription to all the OTT apps. BSNL has lately been focussing on giving streaming benefits to users. BSNL, last month, revised its Rs 1,999 annual prepaid plan. The annual prepaid plan now offers 60 days of Lokdhun subscription and 365 days of Eros Now subscription. The prepaid plan offers 3GB daily data with 100 SMS.

These plans are available in all BSNL circles and came into effect from 18 January 2021. These add-on packs can be purchased by both BSNL Bharat Fiber and general broadband customers.

BSNL has also announced an extension of the promotional broadband plans for another 90 days starting January 4, 2021. The Rs 999 and Rs 1499 prepaid plans offer a premium subscription to Disney+ Hotstar, most other telcos at this price point give the VIP subscription to Disney+ Hotstar.

BSNL Premium Fibre Rs 999 broadband plan: BSNL Fibre Premium broadband plan offers 200 Mbps speed for Rs 999 till 3300GB or 3.3 TB after which the speed is reduced to 2Mbps.
This plan comes with a free premium membership to Disney+ Hotstar.

BSNL Ultra Fibre Rs 1499 broadband plan: This plan by BSNL offers up to 300 Mbps speed till 4TB or 4000GB is reached. After the FUP limit, the speed is reduced to 4 Mbps. This plan, too, gives unlimited calling benefits to any network within the country. This plan also comes with a free premium membership to DIsney+ Hotstar. These plans will be offered by BSNL in select circles with competition for a promotional period of 90 days.

Meanwhile,  Amazon recently partnered with Airtel to launch the world’s-first mobile-only Rs 89 Prime Video plan. Prime Video Mobile Edition is a single-user mobile-only plan, providing SD quality streaming.

Also, Airtel’s Rs 349 prepaid recharge plan has been upgraded and now offers Amazon Prime membership access with full Prime Video benefits, fast-delivery, unlimited ad-free music, 2GB daily high-speed data, and unlimited calling.

Amazon Prime video’s rival Netflix had previously launched the cheaper mobile-only monthly plan in India and priced it at just Rs 199.
