Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2020: Indian Coast Guard has invited on line software for the recruitment of Navik (Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward)) tenth Entry vacancies on its official web site.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment examination online on the official website on or earlier than December 7, 2020.

The Indian Coast Guard will launch the admit card for the recruitment examination on December 19, 2020. The recruitment examination can be held in January 2021.

The recruitment drive is being performed to fill 50 vacancies, out of which 20 vacancies are for unreserved class, 14 for OBC, 8 for SC, 5 for EWS, and three for ST class.

A candidate must be between 18 to 22 years outdated as of April 1, 2021.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate should have passed 10th Class with 50% marks in aggregate from a board of Education recognized by Central / State Government (5% relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for SC / ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National level who has obtained Ist, IInd or IIIrd position in any field of sports events at the Open National Championship/ Inter-state National Championship.

Mean-while, With 38,772 new coronavirus cases and 443 deaths in the past 24 hours, India’s overall tally stood at 94,31,692 on Monday, as the fatality toll touched 1,37,139, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said.

Currently, there are 4,46,952 active cases, whereas 8,84,76,00 patients have been cured and discharged so far.

The recovery rate stands at 93.81 percent, and the fatality rate is 1.45 percent, the Ministry said.

“India continues to have one of the lowest deaths per million population globally (presently 99). Focussed measures to ensure a low and manageable fatality rate have resulted in daily mortality figures of less than 500,” it added.

Maharashtra continued to be the worst-hit state with 1,820,059 cases till date. There are 92,062 active cases and 47,071 Covid-19 deaths.

According to the Ministry, over 70 percent of the daily new cases are contributed by eight States and UT i.e. Maharashtra, Delhi, Kerala, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh.
