JEE Advanced 2020 registration would begin from September 11, 2020. This year, the JEE Advanced 2020 examination would be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT-Delhi). The Institute has released a revised schedule for the exam. Students can visit the official website of the exam – jeeadv.ac.in – to check and download further details.

The online registration and application process for the same will close on September 16. The candidates can make fee payments until September. The exam will be held on September 27 and the result will be out on October 5.

Top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main are eligible to apply for the JEE Advanced. The JEE Main is scheduled from September 1-6, 2020. The result of JEE Main is expected to be released by September 10.

JEE Advanced examination is conducted by the IITs for admission to undergraduate courses leading to a bachelor’s, integrated master’s or bachelor-master dual degree in engineering, sciences or architecture.

JEE Advanced Paper Pattern

The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers for some of the questions.

The examination will be held as per the following schedule:

  • Date of Examination: Sunday, September 27, 2020
  • Paper 1 will be held from 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST
  • Paper 2 will be held from 14:30 IST to 17:30 IST

JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card

Candidates who successfully registered for JEE (Advanced) 2020 can download the admit card from the online registration portal – jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2020 admit card will be available from Monday, September 21, 2020, at 10:00 IST to Sunday, September 27, 2020, at 09:00 IST.

The admit card will bear the following details of the candidate: Name, Roll number for JEE (Advanced) 2020, photograph, signature, date of birth, address for correspondence, and category.

In addition, the admit card will have the name and address of the examination centre allotted to the candidate.
