Jio Fiber Welcome Offer: Jio Fiber is final. As rumours suggested Jio isn’t calling its broadband service Jio GigaFiber instead has renamed it to JIOFIBER. Reliance Jio will provide free FullHD TV or a Home PC to users who opt for Jio Forever Plan. This announcement was made by Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) where he revealed details of the JIOFIBER launch.

Reliance Jio is expected to announce everything about the Welcome offer when the service goes official on September 5. Right now all we know is Jio will offer free TV to users opting for Jio Forever plan. The price of the Jio Forever plan is yet to be revealed by the company.
Jio also hasn’t revealed whether the users will need to pay a security deposit or not to get the free TV. There are no details whether the company will take back the free TV if the user decides to opt for some other connection. We expect Jio to reveal more details about the Jio Welcome offer and Jio Forever plan in the days to come.
JioFiber plans will be priced between Rs. 700 to Rs. 10,000 per month to suit every budget and every need.
JioFiber plans will come bundled with subscriptions to most leading premium over the top (OTT) applications. “Premium JioFiber customers will be able to watch movies in their living rooms the same day these movies are released in theatres! We call this Jio First-Day-First-Show,” Mr Ambani said. Voice calls from the JioFiber’s home to any Indian operator – mobile or fixed – will be absolutely free forever, Mr Ambani added.
Jio Fiber Welcome Offer: Things to know
- With Jio Welcome Offer, JIOFIBER users will have the option to get a free FullHD TV when Jio Fiber services launch on September 5.
- For now no other details like the brand of the TV have been revealed. JIOFIBER will launch on September 5 and will come with speed of up to 1Gbps.
- The price of the Forever plan hasn’t been revealed yet. The company has confirmed that Forever plan is an annual pack.

International calls to US and Canada under the JioFiber will be priced at Rs 500 per month.
