Jio has his own siteBut the Jio’s Rs 598 new plan has been listed. This plan provides 2GB of high-speed data daily, with the speed reduced to 64Kbps after the data cap is over. This includes 2,000 minutes for making unlined Jio to Jio call and Jio to other mobile network calls. Also, in this pack, you can also avail of 100 SMS facilities daily. Apart from this, in this pack, customers will get a free one-year Disney + Hotstar VIP subscription plan, which is actually 399 rupees. As we mentioned above, this prepaid plan of Rs 598 also brings a subscription of Complimentary Geo Suite apps. At the same time, the validity of the plan is 56 days.

 

The chief attraction of Jio’s Rs 598 new plan is the subscription of the Disney+Hotstar OTT platform which would otherwise cost Rs 399 to the users. Previously the company has launched recharge plans like Rs 499 and Rs 777 which also offer the complimentary subscription of the OTT platform. The OTT platform recently announced that all its subscribers will be allowed special access to all the IPL matches which will be streamed live on the platform from September 19.

The Jio Rs 499 Cricket Plan is a data pack and does not get any voice calling or SMS benefits. Users will get a one-year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP worth Rs 399 for free and Jio will also offer 1.5GB of daily data for the entire period of the cricket season (56 days).

Mean-while, India’s COVID-19 case tally crossed the 51-lakh mark with a spike of 97,894 new cases and 1,132 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Thursday.

The total case tally in the country stands at 51,18,254 including 10,09,976 active cases, 40,25,080 cured/discharged/migrated and 83,198 deaths, as per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Maharashtra has 2,97,506 active cases of coronavirus, the highest in the country. While Karnataka with 1,01,645 cases, Uttar Pradesh (96,7002), Andhra Pradesh (90,279), and Delhi (30,914) are also on the list.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 6,05,65,728 samples were tested up to September 16 for COVID-19. Of these, 11,36,613 samples tested yesterday.
