Now, streaming service Netflix wants to be the shepherd with its new ‘Top 10’ feature. With the new feature, Netflix wants to help users keep up with the latest trends in movies and shows on the platform.
With new shows, series and movies arriving on streaming platforms almost every alternate day, it seems like a huge struggle to decide what content should you watch that would not only entertain you but also keep you on top of all ‘best’ shows that everyone is watching. Well, Netflix has finally come to your rescue. In its latest update, Netflix has added a feature that will rank the 10 most popular programs in your country on its platform. Starting today, Netflix will display its Top 10 Overall list from the most popular shows (movies and series) from all over its streaming platform content. Additionally, you can see separate top 10 lists for movies and shows when you switch from the main Homepage to either the Movies or TV show tab in the app. The feature is available on all the devices that support Netflix.
Just like other lists such as ‘Latest Shows’ or ‘Top Picks for You’, the Top 10 list will be available on the homepage. According to Netflix, the list will be updated daily to help subscribers keep up with the most popular shows in their country. But, apart from the overall top 10 list, the streaming service has said that the TV shows and movies tab will also have their own list of the most popular shows and films in the region.
Every show and movie featured on the list will also have a ‘Top 10’ badge. This will help subscribers when they browse specific genres or even go through recommended content, in an effort to help identify current trends on Netflix.
It is pretty difficult to pick a particular piece of content from the vast library streaming services offer today. It takes some intensive browsing to find a gem that might be of your taste. So, it is the norm to watch only the most popular show and even movies that everyone is watching and talking about. Thus, this new feature will prove beneficial for many subscribers out there.
