Netflix StreamFest has been extended until December 11 in India, which means non-Netflix members can watch its content for free for two more days without even entering their bank details. The company had just run a StreamFest on December 5 and 6, and now it is back again with the second round in the country. 

Netflix has not announced the new dates of the fest on its social media channels yet, but it has quietly mentioned on its dedicated webpage that the StreamFest would be live until 8:59 am, December 11, 2020.

Netflix StreamFest is now live in India as it started today at 9:00 am. Netflix will be free till 8:59 am on December 11. Netflix hasn’t announced the extension of StreamFest but the event’s dedicated page mentions the new dates. The rules are the same as it was for Netflix StreamFest. You will still need to create a Netflix account on the web or through its Android app. Then you can stream Netflix for free on any supported device. It is absolutely free. You can watch shows and movies on your Android device, iPhone, tablet, Smart TV, laptop, or streaming device. To sign-up for the fest, you can register on the web or the app, but after that, you can log in to any device to watch Netflix.

Netflix StreamFest Returns, Available Until Friday Morning

Netflix subscription fees start at Rs. 199 per month in India, but during the StreamFest, you don’t need to make any payment to watch its content. You will get access to all the features for two days including Kids’ Profiles, Parental Controls, Netflix in Hindi, My List section, subtitles or dubs, and Smart Downloads. 

Once Netflix reaches its maximum capacity, it will limit the number of people streaming during the fest. However, it will let you know when you can start streaming again.

The streaming service is hosting this fest to introduce its content to more audiences in India.

How to watch Netflix for free

STEP 2: You will then need to sign up with your name, email or phone number, and password. It’s that easy.

STEP 3: You will now finally be able to start streaming.

Before you sign up for the free Netflix service, it should be noted that anyone who signs in during StreamFest will be able to get one stream in standard definition (SD). This means no one else can use the same login information to stream. During the Streamfest, you will be able to access every feature that the present paid users get such as Profiles, Parental Controls, Netflix in Hindi, My List, subtitles or dubs, Smart Downloads on mobile, among others.
