Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday assured that a “grand” Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya within just four months now.

On November 9, the Supreme Court had cleared the way for a temple to be built at the disputed plot of land in Ayodhya where the Babri Masjid stood before its demolition, and which Hindus consider being the birthplace of Lord Ram.

The Supreme Court had directed the Union government to set up a trust in 3 months for the construction of the Ram Mandir at the disputed site. Two days after the verdict, the Home Ministry had started working on setting up the trust that will monitor the construction.

As Amit Shah assured a quick construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, he went on to take a dig at the Congress saying that neither the party can keep the country safe, nor it can respect the emotions of its citizen.

Amit Shah addressed the rally today when Jharkhand entered its fourth phase of polling.

Fifteen assembly constituencies in Jharkhand voted on Monday — in the fourth phase of the Jharkhand Assembly elections.

A total of 221 candidates including 23 female are in the fray in this phase whose fate will be decided by around 48 lakh voters. While the maximum, 25 candidates, are contesting from Bokaro seat while the minimum, eight candidates, will try their luck from Nirsa seat.
