The Indian e-commerce major Flipkart is all set to launch a something big today. The company has scheduled an event in Delhi at 12PM at which it will launch the device. The customers can watch the live stream of the event on starting at 12PM. It is expected that the company might launch its new smartphone.

The company recently posted a message from its CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy that reveals a little bit more about the upcoming announcement. In the video Krishnamurthy said, “Meaningful partnerships drive a successful business. Flipkart’s philosophy of customer eccentricity and long term partnerships has transformed the way India buys mobile phones. We are proud to enter into an exclusive partnership with a tech giant to disrupt the mobile phone landscape in a big way. Get ready for 2 big announcements soon.”

Apart from this, the e-tailer has also listed some other information of the announcement. The website states, “A big new phone launch, a big new brand and an innovative value added service.” Rumours suggest that the company might launch the successor of ots last year launched Billion Capture Plus smartphone.

Incidentally, the last handset that Flipkart launched under its own brand, Billion Capture+, is currently out-of-stock on the website, implying that it may be possible that the company is in the works to launch its successor in the Indian consumer market.
Some earlier reports also suggests that Flipkart and Huawei will partner for the yet to be launched Huawei P20 and P20 Pro smartphones. Along with this, the company is also said to be the exclusive partner for Moto G6 lineup.
