The Indian Premier League (IPL) matches scheduled to be held in Chennai will be shifted to another venue, according to ANI.
Ahead of Cauvery protest by farmers in Chennai the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has reportedly decided to shift the IPL matches that have been scheduled to be held in Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium. According to the sources no IPL matches will be conducted in Chennai stadium witnessing the Cauvery river protest.
The Tamil Nadu Cricket Association has postponed ticket sales for the match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals on April 20.
