SBI customers can now avail life cover up to RRs 40 lakh to protect their loved ones with State Bank of India life cover scheme. The State Bank of India scheme is known as “SBI Life – Sampoorn Surakasha”.
This SBI life cover can be used to cover wider range of groups like employer-employee, borrower-depositor, professionals, affinity, etc.

How to avail SBI Instant Life Cover via Yono
- State Bank of India customers can avail SBI Instant Life Cover through Yono App.
- SBI customers need to download Yono app and fill their relevant details.
- Once you downloaded the SBI Yono app, you need to log onto it.
- After logging onto SBI Yono, State Bank of India customers need to go ‘insurance’ section.
- Subsequently, SBI customers need to opt for “Buy a Policy” section

Mean-while, India’s largest lender, State Bank of India (SBI) has also issued an important clarification pertaining to its home loan interest rates. SBI says that in the last few days some news items in the press regarding hike in SBI Home Loans Interest Rates have come to its notice regarding which it wanted to issue a clarification.
SBI said, “In this regard we clarify that limited period special concessions offered during festive season have come to an end on 31st March’21 and thereafter withdrawn.”
