GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 – GAIL India Limited has released the notification for GATE recruitment through GATE 2021 in online mode. The application process will be open from February 15 to March 16, 2021. No application fee has to be paid by the candidates. GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2021 is for Chemical and Instrumentation disciplines. Students who have done UG engineering course in the Chemical, Instrumentation or its allied discipline can apply for GAIL Recruitment through GATE. Educational qualification required for GAIL Recruitment 2021:

Executive Trainee (Chemical): Bachelor Degree in Engineering /Technology in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology with minimum 65 percent marks.

Executive Trainee (Instrumentation): Bachelor Degree in Engineering /Technology in Instrumentation/ Instrumentation & Control/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation/ Electronics/ Electrical & Electronics with minimum 65 per cent marks.

Candidates having 5 years BE/ BTech + ME/MTech integrated dual degree in engineering in relevant discipline shall also be considered.

GAIL GATE Recruitment 2021: Payscale

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 60,000 – 1,80,000 at the Basic Pay of Rs 60,000 during one year training cum probation as Executive Trainee in E-2 grade. On successful completion of their Training cum Probation Period, they will be absorbed in the same Pay Scale of Rs 60,000 – 1,80,000 in E-2 grade.

Selection procedure:

Based on the GATE-2021 score and requirement, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion and/ or Personal Interview for the position of Executive Trainee in the above disciplines. Please note that only the GATE-2021 score is valid for this recruitment exercise. GATE score of 2020 or prior to that is not valid.

How to apply for GAIL Recruitment through GATE 2021?

• The candidates who wish to apply for GAIL recruitment 2021 must fill the application form and submit their details.
• The application form of GAIL 2021 recruitment will be available on the official website of GAIL.
• Candidates have to register first and then appear in GATE 2021 exam.
• Candidates can apply for one post/ discipline only. Those candidates applying for more than one post/ discipline will not be considered.
• After submission of the GAIL recruitment 2021 application form, candidates will be provided a unique registration number on their registered email ID.
• Candidates have to take a printout of the application form and affix a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided.
• Candidates called for Group Discussion and/ or Interview will be required to produce the same application form at the time of Group Discussion and/ or Interview.
• Candidates should not send the printout of the online application to any office of GAIL (India) Limited.
