India Post GDS Recruitment 2022: India Post has officially announced bumper vacancies for youngsters searching for government jobs in the Department of Post.
The India Post has recruited more than 38 thousand people for Gramin Dak Sevak posts in post offices all around the country. The recruitment drive is being held to fill up 38,926 Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) posts as BPM/ABPM/Dak Sevaks in different states. The Department of Posts has officially invited applications from eligible candidates.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2022 Salary Details:
Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) are paid to GDS. The following minimum TRCA shall be payable to different categories of GDS after engagement:
- BPM – Rs 12,000
- ABPM/DakSevak – Rs 10,000
Eligibility Criteria for India Post GDS Recruitment 2022
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have a Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
The candidate should have studied the local language. e. (Name of Local language) at least up to the 10th standard.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age Limit- 18 years
- Maximum Age Limit – 40 years
Age will be determined on the last date of submission of the application as per notification. Permissible relaxations in Upper age limit for different categories as per govt norms.
Selection Process
Selection will be made as per the system-generated merit list based on the merit position of the candidate and the preference of posts submitted. This shall be subject to fulfilling all eligibility criteria as per the rules.
How to Apply for India Post GDS Jobs 2022?
Interested and eligible candidates can submit applications online mode at https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in or before June 05, 2022. Applications submitted through any other mode will not be considered.
Application Fee
A fee of Rs 100 is to be paid by the applicants for all posts notified in the chosen Division. However, payment of fee is exempted for all female candidates, SC/ST candidates, PwD candidates, and Transwomen candidates.
