Reliance Jio has now announced its 2020 Happy New Year offer for both smartphones and feature phone users in India. The plan brings different benefits for both.

Telecom giant, Reliance Jio, has been on an upswing this year. The company has been chipping away at the competition, and slowly but surely, growing in strength. Although many factors have contributed to this, the biggest reason behind its strong performance has surely been its cut-throat pricing strategy and habit of announcing aggressive deals and offers every few months.
In a continuation of this, Reliance Jio has now announced its 2020 Happy New Year Offer for both smartphones and feature phone users in India. As Jio explains, the offer is quite simple: Smartphone users can simply pay Rs 2020 and get one year of unlimited services.
Think that’s a little steep for feature phone users? For them, Jio has added extra perks. The company has explained that these users can pay the same offer price of Rs 2020 and get a JioPhone free bundled with 12 months of unlimited services.
Further, the company has announced that Jio’s smartphone subscribers will get 1.5GB data per day, as well as, unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calls, SMS for a recharge of Rs 2020 which is valid for a year with the Rs 2020 plan.
Feature phone users, on the other hand, will get 500 MB data per day and unlimited Jio-to-Jio voice calls, SMS. Another thing to note is that fair usage policy will apply to both offers for off-net calls to telcos like Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL. The offer has been announced to be available to users from December 24, 2019. While the company has announced no end date for the offer, reports suggest the offer could end by the first week of January.
The Jio 2020 offer comes on the back of the company announcing its new All-in-One plans earlier in the month. The company claims that these plans provide up to 300 per cent more benefits to the consumers. The new Jio plans have been segmented based on the validity that they offer. There are four categories of plans for one month, plans for two months, plans for three months, and lastly the plans for a year. There is also a category of affordable plans.
Of these, there’s an annual plan for Rs 2,199 which comes quite close to the Jio New Plan in the benefits it provides. Under this plan, Jio offers 1.5GB data per day and 12000 IUC minutes for 365 days.

What Is The Offer Conditions:
- An Eligible Subscriber, who, during the subsistence of the Offer, performs the Recharge on or after 28th December, 2018, will be entitled to get Ajio Coupons worth rs 399.
- The Offer will be open to all Eligible Subscribers on and from 28th December, 2018 to 31st January, 2019.
- The Ajio Coupons will be credited in the MyJio app of the Eligible Subscriber within 72 hours ofRecharge by the Eligible Subscriber.
- Eligible Users may thereafter use the AJIO Coupon to avail a flat discount of INR 399 on the MRP of the Products purchased from the Platforms, provided the value of the Products purchased as part of a single order placed by Eligible Users on the Platforms is equal to or exceeds INR 1,000 after taking into account all applicable discounts, if any.
