SBI PO 2020: State Bank of India (SBI) will stop accepting applications for Probationary Officer (PO) 2020 recruitment drive tomorrow, December 4. All interested candidates are suggested to apply for the PO 2020 exam sooner on the official website.

SBI had released a notice last week against the recruitment drive urging applicants to apply sooner and not wait for the last day to process the application. The notification for the PO recruitment was released on November 14 and the application process began on that day.

 

UPSC CMS DAF 2020 online form available for 559 vacancies

The PO recruitment drive this year will be conducted for 2000 vacancies. The PO notification is generally released earlier but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the notification this year was delayed.

 

The preliminary examination will be conducted on December 31, January 2, January 4, and January 5. All candidates who clear the preliminary exam will appear for the Main exam which is scheduled for January 29, 2021.

Eligibility and Qualification:

Candidates must have cleared their graduation to be eligible to apply for the position. The candidate must be above 21 years and below 30 years to be eligible to apply with relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates who are from reserved categories.

Mode of Selection:

Candidates have to go through three rounds of the selection process – Preliminary, Main, and Interview/Personality Test. The preliminary exam will consist of 100 MCQ questions for 100 marks testing candidates on the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability.

 

Candidates who clear the preliminary exam will be eligible for the Main exam that will consist of 155 questions for 200 marks on Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. There will also be a descriptive paper for 30 marks consisting of Essay and Letter writing.

 

The final phase of selection will include an interview round and depending on the COVID-19 restrictions a Ground Discussion before the final selection is done.

  2. On the page, scroll to the On-going Recruitment section and go to SBI Probationary Officer Recruitment 2020 notification – alternatively, click on SBI PO 2020 Apply Online Link here
  3. On the new window that opens, click on new registration and start the online application
  4. Provide the contact details to register, fill details and upload the picture and signature
  5. Pay the fees to complete the online application process

Candidates are advised to apply online at the earliest to avoid last-minute rush and delays on the server. Also, all are advised to keep a check on the official website for any updates regarding the same. The last date to apply online is December 4, 2020. Admit Cards would be released in the third week of December.
