State-owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended the validity of its ‘5 pe 6 offer’ up to 30th June. The promotional offer has repeatedly seen a monthly extension with the latest extension coming earlier this month. The offer was earlier scheduled to expire on 30th May.
The ‘5 pe 6 offer‘ is now set to expire on 30th June. The 6 Paisa Cashback offer had initially launched last year with the initial validity set to expire on 31st December 2019. However, it has continued to be available courtesy of monthly extensions. The update came courtesy of a BSNL Chattisgarh tweet promoting the ‘5 pe 6 offer’ which highlighted the extension.
The offer can be availed by users for calls for more than 5 minutes. Users can avail of a maximum cashback of Rs 50 per month. Through this offer, BSNL customers get a cashback of 6 paise by making a voice call, or sending an SMS. It is available to BSNL wireline, broadband, and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) subscribers.
To activate the BSNL cashback offer, type “ACT 6 paisa” in the SMS compose box and send it to 9478053334. The money is credited in the form of cashback to the subscriber.
BSNL Vouchers: Once the complimentary access to the WiFi is over, BSNL users can get access to the internet by using vouchers. These vouchers start at Rs 9, and go up to Rs 69. The following are the vouchers being provided by the telco.
BSNL WiFi 9 voucher comes at Rs 9 and offers 1 GB data for a day.
BSNL WiFi 19 voucher comes at Rs 19 and offers 3GB data for a validity of 3 days.
BSNL WiFi 39 voucher comes at Rs 39, offers 7GB data for a validity of 7 days.
BSNL WiFI 59 voucher comes at Rs 59, offers 15GB data for a validity of 14 days.
BSNL WiFi 69 voucher comes at Rs 69, offers 30GB data for a validity of 30 days.
BSNL WiFI 59 voucher comes at Rs 59, offers 15GB data for a validity of 14 days.

A report by Telecom Talk stated that each hotspot offers speeds of 2 Mbps to 20 Mbps. BSNL also offers 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi to all users at most Wi-Fi Hotspot locations across India.
BSNL launched its WiFi services in 2015 in Varanasi and has commissioned 49, 517 hotspots across India. BSNL and PayTM partnered in October and PayTm notifies BSNL users whenever there is a WiFi hotspot. The development was noted by Nagella Trinath, deputy manager marketing at BSNL.
