CISCE compartment exam: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations that is CISCE has released an official notice on Tuesday stating that the registration process for ICSE and ISC compartmental and improvement exam 2020 has started. Candidates can check the official website for the official announcement that has been released addressing to all schools under CISCE. Candidates who want to apply for the category 10 and 12 compartment exams are suggested to contact their respective colleges on or earlier than September 22, 2020.
According to the notification, the council can also be registering college students for the improvement examinations for the themes for which the exams have been canceled as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and college students have been awarded marks on the premise of inner assessments.
As per the notification released, “CISCE is now registering the students who are eligible for the compartmental exams. It is also registering students for Improvement Exams that is for subject/ papers for which the examinations were not conducted and the candidates were awarded inputted marks.”
CISCE has requested all the candidates to thus report to their schools in case they wish to apply and have also informed that the marks obtained in these exams would be treated as final marks obtained by any candidate. Take a look at the entire notice here.
Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, CISCE had released the Class 10, 12 results 2020 on July 10, 2020. The details of the pass percentage and number of students were also announced by the Board but no toppers were released this year. CISCE had also released revised formulae for awarding the marks of the canceled papers to the candidates. The formula was the weighted average method which would use the average of the best of three subjects as well as the internal marks which were given to the students.
Nearly 2.5 lakh students had appeared for the ICSE and ISC examinations this time. This year, the examinations started around their usual time in February. However, the papers were disrupted when the schools and colleges were shut down due to a corona outbreak in the country. The Council, in turn, had postponed and then canceled the remaining examinations.
