GoAir offer: Budget carrier GoAir on Friday put one million seats up for sale on its domestic network at fares starting as low as Rs 859, under a limited-period special offer ahead of the Republic Day.
Airline GoAir has announced the ‘Republic Day Freedom Sale’ on domestic flights for passengers as part of its ‘Freedom Sale’. In the week-long event, the airline is offering attractive fares for travel across its domestic network. The freedom sale is effective from January 22 to January 29, 2021, and will be valid on one-way fares for travel from April 1 until December 31, 2021, on the airline’s domestic network.
Also, tickets booked under the sale period will attract zero change fees within 14 days of departure, applicable only for the promo fare seats, which are subject to availability, it said.

Under this sale, tickets booked under the sale period for travel between January 22 and March 31 will have nil change fees until three days prior to the departure date. The sale is applicable on bookings made across all channels. Guests can book their tickets on GoAir’s website or through the mobile app.

Mean-while, India on Monday reported 13,203 fresh coronavirus cases and 131 deaths in the past 24 hours, as per the Union health ministry. With the fresh number of coronavirus cases, India’s Covid-19 caseload has climbed to 1,06,67,736. A total of 13,298 patients were discharged on Sunday following recovery from coronavirus. This took the overall recovery count in the country to 1,03,30,084. Kerala has reported the maximum number of single-day recoveries with 5,283 recoveries. Maharashtra follows with 3,694 new recoveries.
There are 1,84,182 active cases of coronavirus in India, the Union health ministry said on Monday.
India has so far tested 19,23,37,117 samples tested for coronavirus. Of these, according to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 5,70,246 samples were tested yesterday and 13,203 came back as positive.
