IBPS SO Recruitment 2020: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on Monday invited online applications for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in participating organizations – (CRP SPL- X) on its official website.
As per the official notification, the institute will conduct an online preliminary examination on 26 and 27 December 2020. Its results will be announced in January 2021. The candidates who pass the preliminary examination will appear for the main examination, which is to be held on 24 January 2021.
A recruitment drive is being carried out to fill 647 vacancies of specialist officers, out of which 20 vacancies are for IT Officer (Scale-I), 485 for Agricultural Field Officer (Scale-I), 25 for Official Language Officer (Scale-I). Huh. (Click here to see the notification)
50 posts will be recruited for Law Officer (Scale-I), 60 for Marketing Officer (Scale-I), and 7 for Hero / Personnel Officer (Scale-I).
IBPS SO Recruitment 2020: Application fee
The candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWBD category will have to pay an online registration fee of Rs 175, while the application fee for all other candidates is Rs 850.

.Mean-while, There are at least 182 coronavirus vaccine candidates in pre-clinical or clinical-trial stages across the globe. Of these, nine are in the final human-trial stage. In India, two vaccines are in Phase-II trials and one (the Oxford University one) in Phase-III. While experts have said vaccines are likely to reach the general public in March-April 2021, drug makers have been more ambitious with their calculations. Firms like Moderna Inc and Pfizer are eyeing the emergency-use authorization route to launch their shots by year-end. According to a study, India has used its manufacturing capabilities to pre-order 600 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine and is negotiating for another billion. The United States, on the other hand, has pre-ordered more doses.
Covid-19 has infected over 46.8 million people across the globe so far and has claimed nearly 1,205,000 lives. With the virus spreading rapidly and re-surfacing in Europe, every hope is now pinned on coronavirus vaccine development.
Also, India recorded 45,231 new cases of COVId-19 in the last 24 hours, government data shows. The daily case count was 3.6 percent lower than yesterday’s 46,963. With this, the country’s overall coronavirus case count since January was past 82.29 lakh.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the active COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 5,61,908, while 75,44,798 people have recovered from the disease so far.
