The multilingual film ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ will have a new release date, Raveena Tandon, a cast member of the film, announced on Instagram on Tuesday. The film starring Kannada star Yash was earlier scheduled to release on July 16.
KGF: Chapter 2 starring superstar Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon is one of the most anticipated releases of this year. the sequel of KGF: Chapter 1 was slated to release worldwide on July 16 however the second wave of COVID pandemic delayed the plans. Despite the fact that the shooting is almost complete, the film could not release on big screens since theatres all across India were shut due to lockdown. Well now, it seems that the fans will soon witness a piece of good news as makers on Tuesday shared that they are planning on a new date which will soon be announced for everyone.
KGF CHAPTER 2 NEW RELEASE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON
We had earlier reported that KGF: Chapter 2 has been postponed to September. However, an official confirmation on the same was awaited. On July 6, the makers of KGF: Chapter 2 shared a new poster in which they revealed that the film’s new release date will be out soon.
The official Twitter account of The Hombale Films shared a new poster on July 6 and captioned it, “Witness the MAGNUM OPUS come to life soon (sic).”
“The monster will only arrive when the hall is filled with gangsters!! His new arrival date will be announced soon (sic),” read the poster. It is to be seen if KGF: Chapter 2 will release on September 9 in theatres on the occasion of Dussehra.
