Age Limit
The age of the candidates should be between 21 years (completed) as on 01.02.2020 to 30 years (candidates should have been born not earlier than 02.02.1990 and not later than 01.02.1999 both days inclusive only are eligible).
LIC AE Educational Qualification
The required educational qualification is different for different LIC Assistant Engineer posts are:
a. LIC AE (Civil/ Electrical): The candidate must have B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) degree from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution and must have a minimum of three years of working experience in planning and execution of multi-storied building projects.
b. LIC AA (Assistant Architect): The candidate must hold a B. Arch. degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution and be registered with the Council of Architecture. They must also have a minimum of three years of experience in designing all types of buildings with allied services.
d. LIC AE (Structural): The candidate must hold an M. Tech / M.E. (Structural) from an AICTE recognized Indian University/ Institution and be well versed with the structural design of high rise buildings with the foundation system.
e. LIC AE (MEP Engineers): The candidate must have B.Tech/B.E. (Civil) degree from an AICTE recognized Indian University/Institution and must have a minimum three years working experience in planning and execution of Plumbing/Piping/HVAC system, Lift & Fire Fighting System, Electrical Sub-station in multi-storied buildings
LIC AAO Educational Qualification
The required educational qualification is different for different LIC AAO posts are:
a. LIC AAO (IT): The candidate must be a graduate in engineering (Computer Science, IT or Electronics) or have completed his MCA or MSc (Computer Science) from a recognized university.
b. LIC AAO (Chartered Accountant): The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. He should also have passed the final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and be an Associate Member of the same.
c. LIC AAO (Actuarial): The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university. He should also have passed Paper CT1 and CT5 plus 4 or more other papers of the exam conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India/Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
d. LIC AAO (Rajbhasha): The candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Hindi/English/Sanskrit with English/Hindi/English & Hindi as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level.
e. LIC AAO (Legal): The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law or LLM from a recognized Indian University/Institution and have three years of Bar experience.
Emoluments and Benefits
The selected candidates will be appointed at basic pay of Rs 32795 per month in the scale of Rs 32795 – 1610 (14) – 55335 – 1745 (4) – 62315 and other admissible allowances as per rules. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale inclusive of House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, etc wherever admissible depending upon the classification of the city will be approximately Rs 57,000/- per month in ‘A’ Class city.

Candidates selected for the post of Assistant Administrative Officers (Chartered Accountant) with two years post qualification work experience on the date of eligibility are eligible for two advance increments.

- Click on “Apply Online”.
- Click on “Click Here For New Registration”.
- Read the instructions carefully and click on “Continue”.
- Enter your basic details, like Name, Mobile Number, and Email ID.
- Enter the security code and click on “Save & Next”. At this point, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated for you and sent through SMS and Email. Note them down.
- Upload scanned images of your Photograph (20-50 KB, JPF Format) and Signature (10-20 KB, JPG) and click on “Next”.
- Select the post you want to apply for, your category, and other personal details. Enter your postal address along with the PIN code. Validate the details and click on “Save & Next”.
- Enter your educational and experience details, etc. Validate them and click on “Save & Next”.
- Check all the entered details. If everything is correct, check the box against the declaration statement. Also, confirm your signature. Click on “Final Submit”.
- Upload the scanned image of the hand-written declaration in the prescribed format.
- Make a payment of your LIC AE/LIC AAO application form and take a print out of the application form and confirmation page for future reference.
