NEET OMR Sheet 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the scanned images of NEET OMR Sheet 2020, which the medical students submit as answer sheets on the day of the exams. From the OMR sheets, candidates can match their answers with the answer keys for all the subjects of NEET and raise their objections (if any) against the NEET 2020 OMR sheet before October 7, 2020, till 6 pm. Candidates can raise objections, if any, by providing appropriate representations. For each objection raised, candidates will have to pay a processing fee of Rs 1000, which will be refunded if the challenge is found to be correct.
“The payment of the processing fee may be made through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking up to 8 pm of 7.10.2020,” reads the official notice.
Candidates must note that challenges received through mail or post will not be entertained.

* Visit the official website of NTA — nta.nic.in
* On the Home Page, click ‘NEET 2020 OMR Sheet’ under Latest Announcement
* On the next window, insert the login credentials — application numbers and passwords
* Click and access the NEET 2020 OMR Sheet
* Download the OMR or the response sheets of NEET 2020 and tally the answers marked from the NEET answer key
NTA has earlier released the NEET 2020 question papers and answers keys with the correct responses to the 180 multiple choice questions asked in all the sections of the NEET 2020 paper including Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
Steps to challenge NEET Answer key 2020
— Visit the official website nta.nic.in
— Go to Candidate Login and enter NEET Registration Number and Password.
— Now click on ‘Answer Key Challenge’ button and select the answer booklet code.
— Select the question you want to challenge and then click on the submit button.
— Select your answer and give your comments or justifications to support your answer.
— Click on the ‘Confirm’ button and pay the required fee for challenging the answer key.
— Now take the printout of the Confirmation Slip that will show details of answer key that you have challenged.
— You can pay fees using a Debit/Credit Card. You will have to pay Rs 1,000 for each answer key that you want to challenge.
About NEET 2020
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, or NEET, is held for admission to undergraduate courses in medical and allied fields in the country’s institutes including AIIMS and JIPMER. NEET is a pen-and-paper based test. NEET 2020 was held on September 13. More than 1.4 million students appeared for NEET 2020 this year.
Meanwhile, India’s tally of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) increased by 61,267 in a single day, lowest in a week, and now it has 6,685,082 infections, the Union health ministry’s dashboard showed on Tuesday morning. The country’s death toll mounted to 103,569 as 884 people succumbed to the respiratory disease, the ministry’s dashboard showed.
The number of deaths due to the coronavirus disease across the country has also been the lowest in a week, according to the health ministry’s data at 8 am on Tuesday. There were 1,179 fatalities on September 30 and 903 on Monday. Of the 903 deaths on Monday, 82% were reported from 10 states and Union territories and 36% reported from Maharashtra with 326 fatalities followed by Karnataka with 67 deaths.
The number of active cases, which shows a country’s disease burden nationally, stands at 919,023. India has for two straight weeks recorded less than 1 million active cases. The active cases contribute only 14.11% to the positive caseload of the country and 10 states and Union territories account for 77% of the active cases, the health ministry had said on Monday.
