Pensioners alert: In order to continue receiving a pension, every government pensioner has to submit an annual Life Certificate in November. Those aged 80 years or above have started submitting life certificates starting October 1. Pensioners can submit the Annual Life Certificate through different modes. “Submit your Life Certificate hassle-free! Pensioners aged 80 years and above can submit Life Certificate from 1st Oct 2021 onwards,” SBI tweeted.
The rule will take effect on November 1 for persons under the age of 80, with the window remaining open until November 30. To submit a life certificate, one must go to their local post office or bank. This operation can be accomplished in a variety of ways, including doorstep banking and online submission.

Submission of life certificates by financial institution department
The Life Certificate might be submitted by the normal technique through which the pensioners are required to go to the financial institution department disbursing their pension.

In online technique, a pensioner can submit their Life Certificate digitally from dwelling by attaching a UIDAI authenticated biometric machine to their personal computer or cell.
