PF Alert: Before You Update Bank Account Number

It is very easy to change bank account number in EPF database. But, you must have following 2 information.

  • UAN Number – You may be aware that UAN is the key to all the EPF related services. You can’t acess UAN portal without this Number. In fact, this number is used as the user ID in the EPF member portal. Thus you must have this number. If you have forgot this number, check out your salary slip, it must be there. You can also find out your UAN number online.
  • UAN portal Password – To login UAN member portal, you must have to password as well. This password would have been set at the time of UAN activation. If you still have not activated the UAN, you can do it from this page only. You would find the link just below the login box. You can also check out one of my post on UAN activation. If you have forgot the UAN password, you can immediately reset it from here.
