PGIMER Recruitment 2020: Eligibility criteria
- A Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications (included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3)of the Act.).
- Must be registered with the Central /State Medical Council.

The age limit is up to 40 years on the last date of receipt of application.
Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates will be given as per Govt. of India rules.

How to Apply
The candidates will have to submit their brief bio-data (in triplicate) on the proforma given with the notification along with the certificate of age, qualification, experience other complete in all respects on or before 01 December 2020. Candidates will have to appear for a walk-in-interview scheduled on 02 December 2020.
Mean-while, India’s COVID-19 caseload increased to 92.66 lakh with 44,489 new infections being reported in a day, while the recoveries surged to 86.79 lakh, the Union health ministry said on Thursday. The country’s infection tally mounted to 92,66,705, while the deaths climbed to 1,35,223 with 524 new fatalities, the ministry data updated at 8 am showed.
The COVID-19 active caseload has risen to 4,52,344, an increase of 7,598 cases from Wednesday, even though it remained below 5 lakh for the 16th consecutive day. The active cases comprise 4.88 percent of the total caseload, the data stated. The total number of people who have recuperated from the disease surged to 86,79,138, pushing the national recovery rate to 93.66 percent, while the COVID-19 case fatality rate stands at 1.46 percent.
