Vi Rs 1197 Prepaid Recharge: Vodafone Idea which was freshly rebranded as Vi has extended the availability of the Rs 1197 prepaid plan. This plan was previously available to customers only purchasing a smartphone bundle through Home Credit. Vodafone had tied-up with Home Credit in 2019 to facilitate financial access for the 4G smartphones. Only customers purchasing smartphones through HomeCredit could avail of the Rs 1197 prepaid plan by Vodafone.

However, now the telco has made the plan widely available and is listed on Vi’s website. The development was first noted by Only Tech. The prepaid plan is available across India. The plan can also be accessed through third party recharge platforms like Amazon Pay.
Vi Rs 1197 prepaid plan: This prepaid plan by Vi offers 1.5GB daily data with truly unlimited calling. It also offers 100 SMS per day with 180 days of validity. The plan gives access to Vi Movies and TV. It is also eligible for Vi’s weekend data rollover benefit.
Vi Vodafone only telco to give 56 days validity with this prepaid plan under Rs 300
Before the Rs 1197 prepaid plan was made widely available to all Vi users, the telco offered 1.5GB daily data at Rs 599 and a prepaid plan at Rs 2399 with 84 days and 365 days validity respectively. Rs 1197 serves as a plan in the middle of Rs 599 and Rs 2399 prepaid plans.
The Rs 599 prepaid plan gives an additional 5GB of data when recharged with the app. Both Rs 599 and Rs 2399 prepaid plans give the weekend rollover data benefit. The additional benefits for these plans include Rs 125 assured bonus cash to play your favorite games on MPL. Users also get a flat Rs 75 discount daily, on food orders from Zomato with Vi Movies and TV access. Following prepaid plans by Vi also give 1.5GB daily data.
Vi Rs 249 prepaid plan gives 1.5 GB data per day for 28 days with unlimited talk time.
Vi Rs 399 prepaid plan: This plan gives 1.5GB daily data with truly unlimited calls to all networks and has a validity of 56 days. The plan also gives 100 SMS per day. This plan offers a weekend rollover data plan and an additional 5GB of data when recharged with the app.
Vi Rs 555 prepaid plan: This plan gives 1.5GB daily data with truly unlimited calls to all networks and has a validity of 77 days. The plan also gives 100 SMS per day.
Mean-while, Coronavirus cases in India are steadily on the rise with 41,810 new infections in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 93,92,919. There were 496 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours and the number of active cases went down by 984. There are 4,53,956 active cases in the country. Over 42,000 people recovered from the deadly disease in the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to over 88 lakhs.
