Vi (Vodafone Idea) has introduced a new multi-connection offering called RedX Family Plans, with two options priced at Rs. 1,699 and Rs. 2,299 per month providing benefits like unlimited calls and unlimited data. The Rs. 1,699 RedX postpaid plan comes with a three-member connection benefit, whereas the Rs. 2,299 RedX postpaid plan offers a five-member connection. These new RedX Family Plans offerings it alongside the Rs. 1,099 RedX postpaid plan that also offers unlimited data and calls, but only allows a single connection.
Coming to the newly introduced postpaid plans, the Rs 1699 postpaid plans include unlimited local, STD, and national roaming calls. It comes with unlimited data benefits and 100 SMS per day or 3000 SMSes per month. The plan gives access to three connections. Apart from this, Vi’s Rs 1699 postpaid plan also offers free annual subscriptions to Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hotstar VIP, Zee Premium for the primary connections while the secondary connections get access to Vi movies and TV and Zee Premium. Users also get access to international and domestic lounges at least four times a year. Vodafone further claims to give an international roaming pack for 7 days worth Rs 2999 along with access to free airport lounge access 4 times per year with 1 international for primary members and special ISD rates to 14 countries including the US, UK, Middle East, amongst others.
Apart from that, there are no changes in terms of benefits. All the five members will get the same unlimited calling, data benefits as well as the SMS.
Benefits in terms of OTT apps’ subscription as well as ISD calling rates are also the same as the aforementioned plan.
The upgraded plans also come bundled with exclusive benefits like mobile security, location tracking solution, Vi movies and TV VIP, in addition to profile tunes via Vi caller tunes.
