Women Jan Dhan’s account holders would get Rs. 500 on 03/04/2020: The Woman Jan Dhan Yojna beneficiaries will get their first installment of Rs. 500 from 03/04/2020. The amount will be deposited in the beneficiaries’ account, as announced in Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package to ease the hardship of the poor amid Coronavirus lockdown in India.
A sum of Rs.500 per month will be deposited in the accounts of women Jan Dhan Yojana beneficiaries for three months.
In order to ensure an orderly withdrawal of money by the beneficiaries, prevent un-necessary gathering(Near banks and ATMs) and to maintain social distancing, the banks will follow a schedule for disbursing this money in different months.
The beneficiaries(Women Jan Dhaan account holder) will get their amount in an order of account number with the last digit.
- Women Jan Dhan Yojana beneficiaries account holders having account number with the last digit as 0 or 1- will be Credited the amount by 03/04/2020
- Those account holders having account number with the last digit as 2 or 3 – will get the credit on 04/04/2020
- Those account holders having account number with the last digit as 4 or 5 – will get the credit on 07/04/2020
- Those account holders having account number with the last digit as 6 or 7 – will get the credit on 08/04/2020
- Those account holders having account number with the last digit as 8 or 9 – will get the credit on 09/04/2020
However, there will be no charges for withdrawing money from other bank ATMs, at present, as per government directives.
Banks have also requested all the beneficiaries of the Women Jan Dhan account holder, to cooperate and ensure the safety and comfort of everyone. “As this money is being deposited into the Bank accounts, the beneficiaries need not rush for withdrawal, money can be drawn at your convenience at any later date- statement comes from the ”Indian Bank Association.
In addition to this, the Indian Bank Association also said that ”For the withdrawal of the money the account holder or beneficiaries must use the neighborhood ATMs with Rupay cards, Bank Mitras, CSPs. They must also avoid crowding at the Bank branches as the situation is getting worse every-day, due to COVID-19 effect.
