Apple is hosting another launch event on October 18 at 10:30 pm. Titled Unleashed, it hints at the rumored new MacBook Pro models and 3rd Gen AirPods.

Apple isn’t done with product launches yet. After the iPhone 13 and Watch Series 7, Apple is set to announce more at the unleashed event on October 18. While the initial teasers hint at speed only, rumors are ripe of a new MacBook Pro based on an M1X chipset and a new third-gen AirPods. The event will be live-streamed at 10:30 pm in India via Apple’s YouTube channels as well as the Apple TV+ app.

The unannounced Apple M1X chip will reportedly come with more professional-focused and graphics-intense capabilities. The chip is also said to come with better neural processing capabilities and up to 64GB of RAM. Old reports state that the M1X has been developed in two variations – with 10 CPU cores (eight high-performance and two high-efficiency) and either 16 or 32 graphics cores. The latest lineup of M1X-powered Apple MacBook Pro laptops may include two variants – with 14-inch and 16-inch screens. The laptops may further feature a mini-LED display, faster charging, and the return of an HDMI port on a MacBook. There might be an SD card reader slot and support for MagSafe wireless charging as well.

While there aren’t too many hints but Apple may also debut the AirPods 3 at the same event, but we are too optimistic about this one.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s SVP Marketing, has shared a video that further hints about the upcoming MacBook Pro with system speed teased. The October 18 launch event is a Monday, which is not typically Apple’s typical day for launches, but it seems that we are up for a surprise.

Apple has announced a hardware event scheduled for October 18 at 10:00 am PDT (10:30 pm IST). This could be the event, where we see the long-rumored M1X chip-powered MacBook line.

Earlier in the month, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman had said that the company would launch a new MacBook Pro powered by the M1X chipset. He had said that the company would reveal the device, in the coming weeks and now, Apple has officially confirmed the event.
