SBI Alert Number:  Now, SBI customers can check their account balance, mini statement through numerous methods and SBI SMS Service is one of them.

SBI customers can use the SMS banking services provided by the bank to check their SBI account balance or receive a mini-statement. All they need to do is give a missed call or send an SMS from their registered mobile number on the SBI balance inquiry toll-free number 09223766666. In a few seconds, they will receive their balance details on their phone. One can get his or her SBI account balance through a missed call at the SBI toll-free number 09223866666 as well.

For mini statement

To get the mini statement i.e. last 5 transactions on the account. Just give a missed call or send an SMS ‘MSTMT’ to 09223866666

For cheque book request

You can also request for a cheque book with SBI SMS banking and mobile services. Send message “CHQREQ” to 09223588888. You will receive an SMS. Send consent SMS (CHQACCY6 digit no. received in SMS) to 09223588888 within 2 hours of receipt of SMS for further processing.

E-Statement

SBI cutomer can avail e-statement for last 6 months of their savings bank account. The statement will be sent on their registered email ID with password encrypted PDF file. Send an SMS ‘ESTMT <space> <Account Number> <space> <code> to 09223588888. Code is any 4-digit number of your choice which will be used to encrypt the PDF attachment sent to your registered email address

Registration for SBI SMS Banking and mobile services

In order to avail this facility, SBI customers need to get their account number registered. They just need to send SMS, ‘REG Account Number’ to 09223488888 from the registered mobile no for that particular account. For e.g. REG 12345678901. After which you will receive a confirmation message indicating successful/unsuccessful registration.

Besides, SBI customers can also check their account balance through net banking, mobile banking, SBI branch, passbook and ATMs.
