Telecom operator Vodafone has introduced a new prepaid plan — the Rs. 499 prepaid pack — for Vodafone users in India. In addition to this, the telecom operator has revised its Rs. 55 prepaid plan, which was launched recently in the country. The 499 prepaid plan is quite a replacement of the Rs 555 plan as it also comes with 1.54 GB data per day, unlimited calling facility to all networks along with 100 SMSes per day. The users will also get a free subscription of streaming app Zee5 and Vodafone Play. The plan will come with a validity of 70 or 60 days depending on the circle.

Although the 499 plan is in a way a replacement of the 555 plan, the latter still exists albeit with a few changes. The validity of the plan has been decreased to 70 from 77 days. The 555 plan also comes with 1.5 GB per day data with unlimited calling and 100smses per day.

The new Vodafone Rs. 499 prepaid plan will provide users with 1.5GB of 4G data per day and comes with a validity of 70 days. This means users will get 105GB of total data throughout the validity period. Users will also get free 100 SMS and unlimited voice calls to any network.

Additionally, the prepaid pack includes the Vodafone Play subscription, which will provide users with free access to premium content on ZEE5. As a reminder, ZEE5 is priced at Rs. 99 per month if not free.

As a reminder, for places such as Bihar, the Rs. 499 plan will offer a reduced validity of 60 days.

Vodafone Rs. 555 prepaid plan: Benefits, Offers

Vodafone has also revised its recent Rs. 555 prepaid plan. The pack now has an increased validity of 77 days. Earlier, it had a validity of 70 days. To recall, the Rs. 555 prepaid plan offers 1.5GB data per data, unlimited calls, free ZEE5 subscription, and 100 SMSes.

You can also opt for the Rs. 599 plan if you are looking for more validity for the same benefits since the Rs. 599 pack comes with a validity of 84 days.

However, if you are considering choosing for any of the above plans, you should totally opt for Rs 997. This is a long-term plan by Vodafone that has a validity of 180 days and offers 1.5 GB data per day. It also offers unlimited calling facility to all networks along with 100 SMSes per day.

The Rs 997 prepaid plan lets the users remain tension free for alteast six months and it is a lot cheaper than Vodafone’s annual plan. You are only required to recharge your phone twice in a year if you opt for the 997 plan.

However, if you are lucking for a plan which is valid for 365 days, there is a Rs 2399 plan which comes with 1.5 GB data, unlimited calling and 100 SMSes per day. The plan is valid for 365 days. Recharging your phone with this plan can be efficient in many ways as you wouldn’t have to worry about your plan getting over after every month, you just have to recharge your phone once and you can take a back seat for a year. But if compared to other long-term plans, this one is slightly expensive.
